Step 1

How should the framing arrive?

All four configurations include the coordinated dry-in materials. The first configuration is the lowest-price starting point; your selected package is priced after takeoff and location review.

Choose the wall-framing lumber

Uncut, precut, and preframed configurations are available in either lumber option.

Why the wall system matters

Protection and performance start inside the wall.

Compare the complete wall assembly—not one material in isolation—then add the project-specific services your job actually requires.

REZ Wood protection

Treated to help resist mold, rot & termites.

Choose REZ Wood instead of typical lumber for treatment designed to help protect framing from mold growth, termite damage, and wood-decay conditions. The exact treatment, handling requirements, warranty, and availability are identified in the reviewed quote.

MoldRotTermites

Optional upgrade: Fire-retardant-treated lumber can be quoted where supported by the final design, local requirements, and supplier documentation.

Third-party thermal assessment

To match it: about R-43 wood or R-50 steel.*

Put simply, the June 2026 assessment says a conventional wall would need roughly R-42 to R-43 in wood framing or R-49 to R-50 in steel framing to compare with the modeled Thermatech system.

Compared with wood framingR-42 to R-43
Compared with steel framingR-49 to R-50

*Comparative modeled performance: The assessment modeled the 5.5-inch Thermatech configurations themselves at approximately R-20.5 to R-21.1. The higher numbers are conventional-wall performance equivalents, not directly tested Thermatech insulation ratings, and include the report's assumed air-leakage improvement.

Engineering & signed documents

Scoped and priced for your project.

Engineering and signed or sealed drawings are not included in the displayed starting price unless the reviewed quote specifically lists them. When required, they are an additional project-specific cost based on the final plan, project state, design criteria, and local review.

Four convenient dry-in configurations

Build the right dry-in package for Pinnacle.

Every configuration includes the coordinated dry-in materials. Choose the wall-framing preparation that fits your crew, timeline, and jobsite.

01Dry-in package · field-cut framingUncut Lumber BunksFull-length lumber plus coordinated dry-in materials. Your crew measures, cuts, and assembles the walls onsite.Available inREZ WoodMold, rot & wood-boring pest resistanceTypical lumberConventional framing lumberSee what's included
Full-length REZ Wood framing lumber bundled for delivery

Choose uncut REZ Wood or typical lumber. Buffalo River organizes the plan-based framing into job-ready bunks while your crew handles measuring, field cutting, and assembly. The coordinated dry-in materials come with either lumber choice.

Thermatech panels are for the exterior walls. The package combines exterior framing and insulation before delivery, plus all coordinated dry-in materials. For the interior, choose full-length lumber bunks or preframed walls in REZ Wood or typical lumber.

Explore Thermatech

High-efficiency note: A June 2026 third-party thermal model says a conventional wall would need roughly R-42 to R-43 in wood framing or R-49 to R-50 in steel framing to compare with the modeled Thermatech system. The Thermatech assemblies themselves modeled at approximately R-20.5 to R-21.1; the higher numbers are comparative equivalents that include assumed air-leakage improvement, not directly tested Thermatech insulation ratings.

What's included

  • Preinsulated Thermatech exterior wall panels only
  • Interior framing options: lumber bunks or preframed walls in REZ Wood or typical lumber
  • Precut exterior window and door openings
  • Windows
  • Exterior doors
  • Siding supplied for field cutting onsite
  • Roofing supplied for field cutting onsite
  • Radiant-barrier roof sheathing
  • Engineered trusses or reviewed conventional roof-framing lumber bunks
